Our decorated cookies are handmade with care, each one is a little piece of edible art! To ensure everything goes smoothly, please take a moment to read and agree to these terms before confirming your order.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order with Sweet Duo, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.
2. Orders and Pricing
- All orders require design approval before production begins.
- Prices are quoted in Euro (€) and exclude VAT unless otherwise stated.
- Minimum order quantities may apply (see pricing page).
- Lead times depend on design complexity and current workload. We recommend at least 15 days notice before your event.
- We reserve the right to refuse or postpone orders when capacity is full.
- Reference images are welcome! We don't copy exact designs but create something inspired by your theme.
- Final colors and details may vary slightly from digital sketches — that's part of the handmade charm.
3. Payment Terms
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking.
- The remaining balance is due 3 days before collection.
- Payment can be made via bank transfer, stripe and cash.
- Orders not paid in full will not be released.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations 7 or more days before collection: full refund minus a 10% admin fee.
- Cancellations within 7 days of collection: no refund, as production will have begun.
- Design or quantity changes after confirmation may incur additional charges.
5. Collection
- All orders are collection only from Kilcock, Co. Kildare (by appointment).
- Please inspect your order upon collection and report any issues immediately.
- Sweet Duo is not responsible for damage occurring after collection.
6. Packaging
- All cookies come individually heat sealed for freshness.
- Optional ribbons, tags, or custom packaging are available for an extra cost (to be discussed).
7. Allergies and Dietary Requirements
Please know that while we do our best to prevent cross-contamination WE ARE NOT an allergy-free bakery. Cookies are made by hand using shared equipment, which processes dairy, peanuts, soy, tree nuts and wheat. If you have a severe allergy DO NOT go ahead with the order.
- Our kitchen handles nuts, gluten, dairy, and other allergens — we cannot guarantee allergen-free products.
- Customers are responsible for informing recipients of ingredients.
8. Liability
Sweet Duo is not liable for any allergic reactions, illness, or injury resulting from the consumption of our products. By purchasing, customers accept all food-related risks.
9. Intellectual Property & Photos
- All design concepts, sketches, and work produced by Sweet Duo remain our creative property.
- We love sharing our creations! Unless requested otherwise, we may use photos of your order for social media and marketing.
